2010 Eco-Sailing Tour of Sandy Hook  and Raritan Bay

(Ages 12 and up with adults)

Come aboard a comfortable 41-foot sailing catamaran, The Kathleen D, for a friendly 3-hour narrated cruise.
Explore the history and ecology of Sandy Hook Bay, Raritan Bay, and Lower New York Bay.
Experience spectacular views of majestic migrating birds flying overhead, and pass by historic lighthouses, old fishing villages, and witness breath-taking views of the New York City skyline from vantage points seldom seen by the general public.
This unique program is not to be missed!
The tour is open to only 17 people, so register early. Bring your binoculars and camera, and take something warm to wear, as it can get chilly on the open water. The boat will set sail down by the bay at the Monmouth Cove Marina, located near Port Monmouth Road in the fishing village of Port Monmouth.
